The Contemporary Austin
The Contemporary Austin offers two unique locations for ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, elopements, celebrations of life, reunions, meetings, and corporate parties. Laguna Gloria is a historic landmark site located only five miles from downtown on beautiful Lake Austin, featuring outdoor sculptures by renowned international artists, a gorgeous natural landscape, and historic ties to Texas culture. The Jones Center is a stunning contemporary art space in the heart of downtown, located on 7th Street and Congress Avenue and in close proximity to many Austin hot spots. The architecturally-renowned Moody Rooftop features open-air, panoramic views of downtown, the Capitol and the iconic sculptural installation With Liberty and Justice for All (A Work in Progress) by artist Jim Hodges.

Laguna Gloria
Laguna Gloria provides the perfect setting for many memorable occasions. An award-winning location for ceremonies and receptions, it has been named one of the best wedding venues in the country by Brides.com and the Best Wedding Venue in Austin (2015) by The Knot, as well as featured on publications and blogs including Style Me Pretty and Austin Monthly's 2015 Wedding Guide. The Italian-style Driscoll Villa and the expansive grounds allow for a variety of events, from weddings to corporate gatherings.
If you are interested in viewing the venue, we invite you to schedule an appointment with our Rentals Department, Monday through Friday during office hours, 9A–4:30P. Guests are also always welcome to visit the museum during regular open hours to become familiar with the site.

Jones Center
The Jones Center offers a unique, contemporary setting ideal for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate receptions, workshops, and meetings, with a stunning open-air canopy that offers protection from outdoor elements. This historically and architecturally significant building was renovated in 2011 by acclaimed architects Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis. Paul Lewis of LTL Architects also led a renovation and expansion in 2016, with the debut of the brand-new Moody Rooftop.
The Roof Deck at the Jones Center is 3,000 square feet and includes a built-in bar, optional 20’ x 11’ screen, bistro tables, a panoramic skyline view, and protection from the elements with an open-air canopy. This space is ideal for seated dinners, film screenings, and cocktail receptions.
The Community Room at the Jones Center is a fully A/V capable space on the second floor overlooking Congress Avenue. With a seating capacity of up to 70 people, this space is perfect for lectures, meetings, workshops, and press lounges.
