Batik/Wax Resist Dyeing
Adults
This class is suitable for beginners or anyone that already loves working with dye and fabric. In this immersive class you will develop your own style and themes on fabric. Learn the Batik/Wax resist dying process from making your own dye, and applying the hot wax, to boiling out your own fabrics. Your end results will be long lasting and washable. Make a back patch for a jean jacket, a big contemporary room divider or a fabric that can be used for your other sewing projects.- Jan 12–Feb 23 (Thurs) 1:00 PM–4:00 PM
