Big, juicy abstract florals captured in watercolor. This weekend workshop is inspired by Jan’s morning walks in Laguna Beach, and the abundance of floral inspiration at every step. Observe flowers with a new perspective. Capture not only what you see, but also how you react, as you interpret the forms with watercolor. Learn to simplify and abstract subject matter, and record the essence of nature with minimal marks. Demonstrations, one-on-one instruction, and sharing what you have painted will provide the foundation for your exploration. Previous watercolor experience is recommended, this is not a course intended for beginners. Supplies are not included. The workshop is limited to ten students.
