Printmaking with a Gelli Plate

Adults

Gelatin printing is a form of monoprinting in which a gelatin slab is used as a printing plate along with acrylic paints or water-soluble inks to create images. Unlike many other printing methods, very little pressure is required to make monoprints using this technique. Utilize simple mark-making tools, stencils, rubber stamps, and masks to produce a variety of monotype prints using a Gelli plate. Create greeting cards, artist trading cards, frameable art, and more, and leave with your own printing plate! If you like printmaking or are curious about the medium, this class is for you.
