Swirl and Splash! Shibori Tie Dying (ages 6-11 w/adult)

Come discover the secrets to using natural materials to create different color dyes, play with beautiful indigo shibori, and tie-dye patterning techniques! You will learn how to create your own dyes from naturally occurring ingredients such as plants, spices, coffee and more on both textiles and paper. Learn the fascinating history and ancient heritage of the craft you're preserving while considering the ecological benefits.
