Wheel Throwing (ages 9-11)

Age 9–11

Unlock the magic of the potter’s wheel. Use basic clay throwing techniques such as centering, pulling, and finishing. Learn to throw cylinders and turn them into one-of-a-kind works of art. Create decorative cups, bowls, plates, and candleholders while expanding your art skills.

*We email all parents when work is ready for pickup. Once parents are notified, we hold onto work for 2 weeks due to limited space in our kiln yard.

All supplies provided! Bring a healthy snack for break time. Dress for mess. No early drop-off or late pick-up. Children are under parental supervision and responsibility on the Museum’s grounds before, between, and after classes.
